The Vision
Re-imagining food waste as an energy resource
It is our vision for the world to see food waste as an opportunity, rather than a liability. Our mission at Food2X is to re-imagine waste as a resource by diverting food waste and swine wastewater to wastewater treatment facilities for efficient biogas production. Our co-founders include Cornell Engineers who were awarded the German Chancellor Fellowship (50 in the world) from the Humboldt Foundation (2020), and feature by UNICEF as Young Changemakers, among others.
